Below are some quick helpful hints with the buying process:

1.  First and foremost, work with a Realtor®   Realtors® are the professionals in this field.  Realtors® and are required to adhear to a code of ethics.  We at Boston Bayside Properties are Realtors® and professionals in this field. We have worked hard earning that designation.

 2.  Work with a professional mortgage broker and get pre approved.  Keep in mind not all mortgage brokers or pre approvals are alike.  Work with a trusted individual and a trusted company. This will make your process smoother.

 3.  Outline your expectations. Narrow down what your major needs are as opposed to something you may like to have. Example, major need:  off street parking.  Something that would be nice to have:  a fireplace.  (although for some, this could be a major need)

 4.  Become educated in terms of the market.  This can be done not only online but by physically viewing interiors and exteriors of properties .  Drive by, look at the neighborhood questioning whether or not you would like to live there. Notice how the neighbors care for their properties.  This can impact value.

 5.  After narrowing down what you want that fits into your budget, sitdown with your Realtor® to make an offer. Believe it or not generally once that offer is accepted and you have been validly pre approved, the sometimes daunting task of locating your new home is just about coming to a close and you are preparing to become among the proud ranks of property owners which is a very sweet thing.

As hard as this task will seem at moments, enjoy the process and do not loose sight that you will end up in your new home!
